Imagine that you have a lot of music files stored on your computer. It's much more convenient to play an audio file than an actual audio CD, which requires you to insert the disc into the drive, launch the player and so on. But the problem when having so many audio files is that they can be very difficult to organize and manage. If you want to find a certain song among hundreds and thousands of audio files, you may have a problem. That's because most audio players don't include a reliable search feature for finding certain songs. But this changes when installing the muso application.

This simple Windows program allows you to manage and organize your entire music collection in the easiest and most efficient way possible. Installing this application is extremely simple, as a couple of clicks are enough to get the program installed. After launching it, the user will be able to easily add music files into the program's interface. This can be done in two ways, either manually, by selecting the folder that contains the music files, or by importing all the songs from iTunes.

After importing the desired music files, the user will be able to view them by artist, genre, album and so on, as muso is able to read the ID3 tag information of your music files. After finding a desired song, the user can play it directly using the built-in player. Optionally, he can use Winamp for playing the selected song.

The program's database can be exported as an XML file, for reusing it later on or it can be saved as an iTunes playlist. By accessing the options section of muso, the user can customize its appearance, by changing the font and color. He can also modify the application's functionality.

Pros

It allows you to efficiently organize all your music files, by reading their ID3 tag information. Besides that, audio files can be displayed using various filters. Furthermore, the user can export the music database as an XML or iTunes file.

Cons

The support for audio formats is a bit limited. muso allows you to organize and manage your music files in the simplest and most efficient way possible.
